A few of my favorite things ~

A sleepy Sea Lion basking in the sun

The same Sea Lion posing for me

Sea Anemones

(There is a very tiny fish next to this Sea Bat)
I love the ocean. I feel at home and I can spend the entire day here. You have to literally pull me away. I like to walk on the beach and feel the sand between my toes. I can sit just watching for hours and love to feel the coast wind blow a misty kiss on my face and how it makes my hair dance. I love the lullaby that the waves sing to me when I close my eyes to sleep. I like to to check out the tide pools and peak under rocks to see what is living down underneath. I will always walk away in awe and amazement in the beauty of how everything flows in this great big grand scheme of things and the wonder of it all.
Now, let me introduce you to my daughter Diandra. I love this girl with my whole heart and everything that I am, want to be and more. She amazes me and I find myself wondering... did she really come from me? I am so proud of her!
I love you my baby girl!!

  3. Angela, first of all, thank you so much for guiding me to your daughter's blog. There was a post there that I very much needed to read, so you and Diandra were both blessings to me today. I know I will come back to her place again!

I loved the ocean photographs. Being at the beach is paradise to me! I often dream of being able to live or retire there. The sounds of wind and surf, the primal scents of saltwater and marine life, the muted blues-grays-greens-browns, the rhythm of the tides pulling and pushing, not to mention the sheer playfulness of building sandcastles, jumping waves, discovering beautiful shells, and watching little digger clams burrow out of sight...oh I do love the beach! You gave me a mini-vacation!

  5. I love the sea...as we don;t have an ocean here :)

Although, I have been at the most southern point of Africa: where the two oceans meet. That was a wonderful experience.

I'm going to check out the blog of Diandra later today. Work calls :)

    Have a wonderful day!

    XO Sophie

  8. Ohhhhhh...the ocean. How I miss the ocean and everything that goes with it. I moved from Boston to Austin back in 2005. I miss gulls circling our house (6 miles inland). I miss the smell of the ocean. I miss the beaches. At least Austin has some gorgeous lakes. But this post reminds me of how I miss the ocean.
