Time After Time ~
Time after Time ~
What good are words I say to you?
they can't convey to you what's in my heart
If you could hear instead
The things I left unsaid
Time after time, I tell myself that I'm
So lucky to be loving you
So lucky to be the one you run to see
In the evening, when the day is through
I only know what I know, the passing
years will show
You've kept my love so young, so new
And time after time, you'll hear me say that I'm
So lucky to be loving you
These little sweeties are a God send! They entered our lives at a time when all seemed bleak and gloomy. My Dad had just passed away and I fell into a deep depression. He lost his life to cancer at the young age of 59. My sister and I took care of him for over a year. Not only did caring for his illness affect the two of us, but also my husband and two kids still at home. I was away for most of that year. Something such as this, an illness, a death, a life crisis..changes you. It had changed me in so many ways... and I didn't feel the same way as I once did. I had to find my way back. Mackenzie, Sophia, and Semone helped to bring back awareness to the simple joys of life I had begun to overlook.

Aren't these girls just darling! It's amazing to think that God knew we would need them in our lives, no matter how loud they make our home at times now, just imagine what it would be without them now!? Their little personalities are just one more proof of His love for us. Am I right or am I right!
ReplyDeletelove you mommy,

Phew! Looking at these cuties makes me want one! I am highly allergic to all animals! Waaaaaa! I can't pick out my favorite! of your sweeties! I usually LOVE black haired animals the best because probably I had the sweetest Irish Setter back in the day!and would you believe I grew up on a farm with all kinds of animals! but after a certain age I was allergic! but the cocoa brown one tugs at my heart but then I look at the sweet little white one, ahhhhHHHHH! I can't pick just one! They are all soooo sweet, I am GLAD they came into your life! We thought we were going to lose my dad the first of last year but now he is shoveling snow(he shouldn't but he is stubborn!and he's 80, soon to be 81!)Mom will be 76! xoxoxo, sweet dreams lass!

ReplyDeleteThey really are wonderful companions!!!
Awwwww...just look at them! All of their attention seems so focused on looking at the camera & looking good! They must be perfect little divas!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for the loss with your father & am thankful that he sent some 4 legged angels your way to remind you of the purity of love.
I think animals are such an important part of a person's life. I have two cats and just love them to pieces. I can't imagine not having them with me, especially when Jeremy get deployed.
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question from my post, I am 26 and we will have been married for 2 years in April.
Angels. They come in every size and shape. Isn't it amazing that they always appear when you need them near?
ReplyDeleteWhat precious pups! What everyone else has said is so true. There is something about the unconditional love of a pet that is so affirming and healing.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear of the loss of your father. You and your sister showed such love and devotion to him. You were blessings in his life as he was to you.
I pray that you and she continue to feel God's love demonstrated through those beautiful little furry-angels of yours and that your family will grow strong and nearer to one another in this time of grieving. If you ever need a smile, just look at those sweet doggie faces!
Wow Ang...I'm impressed that you got them all to sit still long enough for a picture.
ReplyDeleteAnd they all look so calm and serene here (and we know that is rare ^..^ ^..^ ^..^)
loving you a ton,
Darlene

I realize that this is an older entry. I hope you do not mind me commenting about the fur babies and losses.
ReplyDeleteIt is an amazing thing how little furry creatures can make a situation that is unbearable into one that you know for sure you'll get through. I believe with all my heart a dog's wagging tail is a Godly gift for humans. One can't help but smile when that little butt goes back and forth and the tail gets to wagging simply because they laid eyes on the human they love. It is an immeasurable gift.
