Undersea
Beneath the waters
Green and cool
The mermaids keep
A swimming school.
The oysters trot;
The lobsters prance;
The dolphins come
To jon the dance.
But the jellyfish
Who are rather small
Can't seem to learn
The steps at all.

Angela: Where do you find all your mermaids? They are all great, and this is a delightful fun poem.
ReplyDeletethe poem and the photo go together so well :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I like this poem.
ReplyDeleteVicci~ This mermaid is actually a stick that goes into a plant. I have her stuck into a beaded leaf that looked like a sea plant to me. She was very happy there, so she is in my bathroom on a shelf!
ReplyDeleteWanda Mom~ they call me.
