Much needed R & R
Autum is here for awhile
Festivals are all around
There is still time for a great smile
Before winter snow is on the ground
Cool evenings, a campfire with friends
Hot dogs, hamburgers and laughter abound

I am off to the High Sierra...

Have a great time Angela and Charlie....Love those pumpkins!! Will have some on my porch soon.
ReplyDeleteI love pumpkins. I was born in late Oct so I've always seen pumpkins as representing me somehow. And I'll leave off the jokes of how my shape looks like theirs....hahahaha!
ReplyDeleteI've had to rethink my pumpkin purchasing since moving from New England to Austin. My first fall here, I bought a pumpkin in early Oct, carved it and sat it on the front porch expecting it to last a couple of weeks. Um...not quite. It was soft and rotting in just a few days. Not quite the cool New England refrigerator I'm used to! HA! So now I have to either buy them more frequently or just buy them later.
Beautiful shot. I've never seen pumpkins the colors of some of these.
ReplyDeleteOOh, camping! Hope you have a great time.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo Angela. Have a wonderful time. I'm not good at camping but I do love campfires. Have lots of fun and don't forget your camera..!

I loved the poem and then looked at the tomato worm and just about screeched. I totally hate tomato worms. They give me the creeps. But, I'll be careful when I read the poem again.
