The Fifth Floor

The Sun Never Says

Even after all this time
The sun never says to the earth,
"You owe Me."

Look what happens with
A love like that,
It lights the Whole Sky.

The Gift by Hafiz

* On the fifth floor where the cancer wing is at the hospital, Charlie gets a grand view of the sun setting.

  1. “All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring; renewed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.” J.R.R. Tolkien (a local author)
I haven't left any comments for a while. Do not construe my silence as uncaring, I simply find the appropriate words elusive. It would be so much easier to squeeze your hand and let you know I'm there.

  2. How beautiful, what barkfoot shared. I've seen the sunset from the hospital ~~~ as a visitor not a patient.

Will call you Sat. to reschedule!!
    Love and Hugs
