A Year Gone By ~

Oh yes! How does that ole' saying go, "The years go by faster as you get older?" As I get older, I find that saying rings more truth with every year that goes by. I can hardly believe it has come to an end.

As I reflect on this past year, I remember the laughter, the joy, the hard work and the tears. It is also a time to think of the new one to come. This is a time of new beginnings. I want to live more in the moment. To be able to fully appreciate the "now."

To let go
Let life
Surprise me.

  1. A Year Gone By -- You got that so right dear Angela.

Wasn't it just a short time ago we were celebrating 2009. I laid all twelve pages of my refrigerator calandar on the bed, and gazed at a a year spread out on my bed and was amazed at what had taken place this year.... I know you can do the same.
I too, am looking forward to a new year of taking one day at a time..Remember Wayne Streeter...He used to say.."Every day is a Bonus" I agree.

  2. To get the most of the new year, do as you have planned. You might also consider this idea...

Serve with integrity, care about those you serve, and share the love in your heart/soul.

But, then, you already to that, don't you?

May you, Charlie and the rest of your family have a happy, healthy, prosperous new year. With emphasis on healthy.
