My ideal lifestyle from vocation to vacation would to take one year off from work; not worrying about expenses. I would travel light, in addition to taking a journal, and my camera. I would also drive an old green truck that would never break down.
I've always had a strong longing to travel, and to stop when I wanted to; sleeping under the stars or renting a room with the bare necessities. I want to meet people and hear their stories; their life passions and who they love... and then move on to the next wanderlust.
I think I'm a gypsy at heart, and this kind of year off would be a dream come true for me.
What would your ideal vacation be?
Angela dear, we must be cut from the same fabric. I would so do just that. I know there is a gypsy inside this most of the time conservative retired Pastor's wife. But wanderlust...oh yes... I dream...I dream...

ReplyDeleteI've been lucky enough to be have been able to travel a little bit, and while I've enjoyed the trips I've had, now I'm getting older, it seems I like home best.
